In case you didn’t already know, in addition to being one of today’s preeminent supermodels and a force to be reckoned with in the fashion world, Bella Hadid is also a hugely accomplished equestrian.

She proved it this past weekend, participating in a competition hosted by the National Cutting Horse Association at Bosque Ranch in Weatherford, Texas (which happens to be owned by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, and is also where the Paramount Network series is filmed).

Hadid competed in the $50,000 Limited Amateur category, riding bay roan stallion Metallic Tito, Sports Illustrated’s Rodeo Daily reported. They earned 132 points, landing them in eighth place.

In a video that has since gone viral on TikTok, Hadid rides the stallion while seemingly corralling a herd of cattle in a rodeo. Her horseback outfit embraces the western aesthetic: a dark denim collared button-down, black leather pants with fringe and metallic studs down the sides, a caramel leather belt, leather cowboy boots, and a gray suede cowboy hat. For good measure, she tied off her shoulder-length hair into two braided pigtails.

Hadid is reportedly dating cowboy Adan Banuelos, the first Mexican-American inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame. But the model herself has been an equestrian since childhood; her family lived on a horse ranch in Beverly Hills for a decade. She continued to compete as an adult until she was sidelined by Lyme disease.

“My devotion stemmed from my mom’s love of horses. I have been riding since I could walk and the fact that my mom knew everything about horses really helped my passion grow,” the model told Porter in 2015. “You know how every model is like, ‘I do yoga.’ Well, I find horses have the same effect. You have to put your ego aside and concentrate on making the horse do the things you want it to do, and move in the way you want it to move.”
